Le ton est donné dès l'intro avec un morceau samplant le fameux "Your Love" de Jamie Principle alias Frankie Knuckles qui annonce que le mix sera froid, sombre, beau, poignant. Autrement dit, on a là un mix d'un romantisme noir radical. Ce sera la tonalité dominante, tout au long d'un set qui flirte avec plusieurs genres, qui monte progressivement, qui s'adresse avant tout à la tête plutôt qu'au corps, dont les morceaux se fondent les uns dans les autres avec finesse. Le mix culmine avec le "New York Is Alright" de TV Baby dont la désespérance rageuse touche à la folie. "The lunatic is in my mind"...
